COVID-19 Update for Bauld Insurance Customers

Published in Community

COVID-19 Updates from Bauld Insurance.

As confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) continue to spread globally, it is a big issue for society including our community. Although there are currently fewer cases in Canada than in other countries, this could change very rapidly.  Our governments are enacting a wide range of measures to protect our citizens.

In the coming weeks, to support the government’s requests for social distancing, many of our staff will work from home where they will continue to manage our customer communications using phone and email. The good news is that almost all of our customer communications are already managed by phone and email.  This means for our customers the disruption will be minimal.

This is out of an abundance of caution, not for any reason of sickness in our office, but we feel it is prudent to be proactive in this situation. We have limited business travel and will be restricting visits to/from insurers, third-party suppliers, contractors, etc…

How Can You Help

The best way to minimize the spread of infection is to eliminate all unnecessary social contact. We love seeing our clients under normal circumstances, however, it‘s important to do our part to manage the risk wherever we can. To the largest extent possible, our client meetings will be conducted by phone – as mentioned, this is our typical business approach. If you have a question or service need please contact us by email or phone rather than visiting our office.

  • Contact an Advisor. Visit our staff directory on our website for a list of Bauld Insurance staff and their contact information
  • Claims: Call the office or our 24/7 claims support number 1-877-925-2285. You can also access and manage your insurance policies with our Bauld Insurance App. If you do not yet have access to the app, click here to complete a brief form to request access.
  • Signatures: The vast majority of our documents can be signed electronically. As per usual, your Bauld Advisor will email any documents to you for an electronic signature.

Be Well Informed.

There is a lot of information circulating in social media about COVID-19. We highly recommend that you focus your information gathering on government resources.  Here is a link to the Government of Canada’s Official COVID-19 Website which is being actively updated with details on a wide range of topics.

We like to say that at Bauld Insurance, we are a family and we treat our customers the same. In times like these, we all need to come together as a community, do our part and take care of family, friends, and neighbors. Be Well Protected.
