Two Wheels Move the Soul

Published in RV Insurance

With these hot summer days, bikers are hitting the road – it’s peak motorcycle season! While they say, “two wheels move the soul” it is important to take a few precautions to ensure a safe and enjoyable motorcycle season for everyone.

Two-Wheel Protection

Of course, always make sure your bike is ready to roll, by regularly ensuring it’s in safe working condition: check the oil level, test your brake & signal lights, inspect cables and chain for signs of wear or fraying.

Now that your bike is safe, it’s time to hit the road. Protect yourself first, with the proper equipment; a good quality helmet with a face shield or goggles, and the right gear like a leather jacket, pants, gloves, and boots. Not only will you be well protected, but you’ll also look cool. And if you haven’t already done so consider taking a rider-training course to brush up on your biking skills.

Safety on the Road

As a biker, you know how powerful a motorcycle can be when you mishandle it or push the limits. When you ride think safety first: follow the speed limit, use your signals, be aware of other vehicles around you, and respect others – don’t weave around other vehicles or drive on the shoulder
